AI Image Disclosure

Some War Machine History visuals are created as explanatory maps, infographics or AI-assisted historical reconstructions.

Reconstructions are not archive photographs

Reconstructed scenes are illustrative interpretations and should be identified in their captions or surrounding text. They must not be presented as newly discovered documentary evidence.

Accuracy limits

We design prompts and review outputs for plausible equipment, setting and composition, but generated images can still contain errors. Readers should rely on the article’s cited evidence—not a reconstruction—for precise historical details.

Archival material

Authentic historical photographs should retain an appropriate source or collection credit whenever that information is available.
